Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Valhalla Crafts. Below you’ll find details on how we handle order processing and shipping.


Order Processing

  • Every lantern and piece we create is crafted by hand with care and attention. As a small team, we ask for your patience: please allow 7–10 business days for us to prepare and send your order. Orders are only processed on weekdays, so weekends and holidays may add a little extra time.


Shipping Rates & Delivery

  • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions.

  • Delivery estimates depend on the carrier and your location. Please note that shipping times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

  • At times we may offer free standard shipping on orders of $50 or more (merchandise subtotal only, before taxes and any calculated shipping charges).

    • In these cases, orders under $50 will have standard shipping charges calculated at checkout.


Customs and Import Fees

  • Some countries charge customs duties or taxes on imported goods. These fees are set by your country’s authorities that you pay and are not included in your payment to us.
  • If your package is delayed, it may be held by customs until any required fees are paid. You can check with your local carrier, or contact us — we’ll help track your order and ensure it finds its way to you.

 


Carriers & Tracking

  • Domestic packages are sent via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, ensuring your order arrives safely and in good time.

  • International orders may take up to three weeks to reach you. Shipping fees for these orders are calculated at checkout after you enter the shipping address.

  • Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Packaging and Materials

  • Orders are typically packed in a cardboard box with crinkle-cut paper padding (100% recyclable), and may be placed inside a weather-resistant bubble mailer or poly mailer, depending on the size and contents.

 


Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

  • Once your order has been handed to the shipping carrier, Valhalla Crafts is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage during transit.

  • If your package is delayed or lost, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.
