Limited Warranty Policy

We warrant that each mini lantern is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.

If a defect in materials or workmanship is discovered within the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product, provided that:

  • The defect is determined to be the result of a manufacturing error and not due to misuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear; and
  • The original product is returned to us for inspection before a replacement or repair is authorized.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Loss or theft of the product, including at delivery.
  • Damage resulting from improper use or care, exposure to extreme conditions, unauthorized alterations, or cosmetic damage (such as scratches, dents, or discoloration) that does not affect functionality.
  • Damage due to water or sun exposure beyond ordinary, incidental contact. While our lanterns are water-resistant, they are not waterproof and should not be submerged, left outdoors, or exposed to prolonged sunlight or extreme weather.
  • Dead batteries in light bulbs due to failure to insert energy-saving tab after use.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is expressly limited to repair or replacement of the defective product as described herein. We shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product.


How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at info@ValhallaCrafts.com within the warranty period with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • A detailed description of the defect (with photos)
  • The original product for inspection

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether the claimed defect is covered under this limited warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order custom lanterns?


Yes! Use the Contact form to request custom lanterns. Please note that standard production, processing or shipping estimates do not apply for custom orders. If we are unable to fulfill custom orders at the time of request, you will be notified. Custom orders will include additional fees for design and labor, and are not returnable.

How do I replace my lantern light?

Replacement lights are available for purchase! Please review the Lantern Instructions page for details on light replacements. 

Why is my lantern light dull or flickering?

Dull lights can be due to misaligned button batteries in the bulb, but thankfully it is generally an easy fix. Please review the Lantern Instructions page for details.

I lost the plastic white tab! How can I turn off my lantern? 

The purpose of the tab is to separate the two button batteries inside of the bulb. Any thin, non-conductive material can achieve this. It is recommended to cut a small piece of paper about the size of the original tab, and insert this into the bulb to turn it off.

My order hasn't arrived. What can I do?

Please check that your order has shipped. Note that our processing times allow for as much as 9 business days to allow time to create your order. However, we usually try to send it out the next business day if in stock. If your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please use this number to track your order on the carrier's website. Feel free to contact us too if something doesn't look right.
